Bike Oven

Hi,

I’m an Angleno and a reporter. I’m working on a gear test for The New York Times that focuses on 27” tires. Most suppliers are reporting a huge increase in sales, largely coming from people pulling old bikes from storage and co-ops like yours as well, and we’d like to test what’s on the market: a total of five tires in all. And we’re looking for a tester or a couple of testers. Any interest?

Now for the bad news: testers are not compensated. I wish it were otherwise, but that’s the paper’s policy, not mine. We would, however, include a line about the co-op in the story.

Again, the story is about 27” tires, so the tester would need to ride one of these rigs, as opposed to a 700c bike to test ‘em. And I’d love to have two or three testers if possible.
